House of Puerto Rico Membership Meeting

Saturday, August 7, 2010
3:00 - 6:00 pm
House of Nations, Balboa Park

The next HPRSD membership meeting is scheduled for Saturday, August 7th at 3:00pm at the Hall of Nations in Balboa Park. Meet fellow Puerto Ricans and friends at our monthly meetings. Bring something to share in the PR potluck. If you need transportation, call the HPRSD number at (619) 234-3445 a week before to contact volunteers for you.

Culture Corner

At this month's Culture Corner, Angie Freeman will host our Annual Queen's Court Election:

Choose From Our Fine Young Ladies to Represent Puerto Rico in 2010-11!

Come give your support for the Queen's Court program as we choose our representatives to the House of Pacific Relations Queens Organization. 2009-10 Queen Eva Flores and her court have done an amazing job this year.

Also, prepare to see our youth (Reinitas Borincanas & Jovenes Boricuas) perform once again at the 2010 Annual HPRSD Lawn Program on Sunday, September 12th at Balboa Park. All new folkloric Puerto Rican dances...

HPRSD Membership Meeting Potluck

Bring a dish, Share a dish, and Enjoy each other's company.

One of the traditions of the HPRSD Membership Meeting is the Community Potluck. Here we share typical Puerto Rican dishes, catch up on the latest news, and have a great time. Bring enough to cover 6-8 people. Elise Caruso is our Potluck coordinator.
