Reinitas Borincanas

Programs are being developed or reinstated to stimulate the desired social, cultural, and educational activities. As we know, to keep kids interested, it has to be fun! There is so much we can do if we work together.

Reinitas Borincanas

This program is designed specifically for young girls and women ages 8- 20 years old in hopes of teaching and introducing young women of Puerto Rican descent or those who just want to be connected with the Puerto Rican culture and traditions. The Reinitas has been extremely active in its development with the induction of its new Queen's Court, performances of traditional dances as well as participating in community outreach.

Jovenes Boricuas

Jovenes Boricuas

Similar to the Reinitas, this program is designed specifically for young boys and men ages 8- 20 years old in hopes of teaching and introducing young men of Puerto Rican descent or those who just want to be connected with the Puerto Rican culture and traditions. In the past fathers and sons have been getting together to develop vejigante masks and costumes with artist Emily Velez-Confer. They have joined the Reinitas in a number of performances.

If you and your kids would like to join the "Angie Freeman's Reintas Borincans y Jovenes Boricus" we would love for you to contact us as we are short handed for girls and boys to particpate in Puerto Rican dance programs and different fun Puerto Rican cultural activities.  Please email us at hprsd@houseofpuertorico.com
